New Delhi, Jan.10,2012- IUML has announced its first list of its nine candidates for Uttar Pradesh Assembly Poll after a meeting held here under the presidentship of Mr. E. Ahamed, National president of the party approved the list submitted by the State Committee. The meeting was attended by Mr. Iqbal Ahamed Advocate, National Vice President, Mr. Moulana Kausar Hayat Khan, President, U. P. State IUML, Dr. Md. Mateen Khan, General Secretary, State IUML, and both Central Observers Mr. Khorrum Anis Omar, National Secretary, IUML and Mr. K. Muhamed Kutty.

Mr. Kausar Hyath Khan, State President of the Party will contest the Election from Moradabad Rural Constituency and Dr. Md Mateen Khan from Ayodhya. The Party also decided to field candidates from 2 SC Reserved constituencies. Jagddish Mahor will contest from Agra Cantonment area and retired Police Inspector D. P. Singh from Nehtaur Constituency.

The names of candidates and their constituencies are as follows: Moulana Kausar Hayat Khan (Moradabad Rural), Dr. Md Mateen Khan (Ayodhya), Md Javed Khan (Agra South), Jagdish Mahor (Agra Cantt.-SC), Md. Khaleeq (Agra North), Haji Rahat Afroz (Shikohabad), Zameer Hasan Ansari (Najibabad), D. P. Singh (Nehtaur-SC), Dr. Kaleem Ashraf (Sambhal).
